GOD
"To delve into history is to light a timeless flame, where every page whispers an ancient name."
One-God belief systems often see God as the ultimate entity, maker, and main focus of faith in mythology. For many-god faith systems, a god is viewed as “a spirit or being responsible for creating or managing a portion of the universe or life, and is commonly worshipped”. Theism is the term for believing in at least one god.
God‘s image differs notably. Various respected theologians and philosophers have created dialogues for and against God’s existence. Atheism is deciding against believing in any god. Agnosticism is the view that the existence of God is a mystery and mythological. Certain theists view insights about God as stemming from faith. Usually, God is viewed as the most powerful entity in existence. God is seen to be the source of everything, and so is viewed as the creator, supporter, and controller of space. God is often considered to be non-material and separate from physical creation, yet pantheism implies God is the universe itself. God is sometimes seen as all-loving, while deism believes that God does not interfere with humanity after creation. Many rituals place spiritual importance on maintaining some kind of relationship with God, usually involving activities like worship and prayer, and view God as the root of all moral responsibilities.
God is sometimes described in a non-gendered way, while some choose to use gender-specific terminology. God is known by different names and titles depending on the language and cultural tradition, these often refer to God’s various characteristics.
